Thyme & Again offers it’s local, national and international customers warm, country hospitality combined with a variety of scrumptious savoury and sweet home-made delights from its very own bakery as well as carefully selected local delicacies and an excellent collection of fine wines mainly from the Western Cape. Customers are most welcome to browse around the shop or relax in the garden café whilst enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee, sampling treats or any of the freshly prepared meals.

Looking back in Thyme

In 1993, Tessa decided to leave the hustle and bustle of Cape Town's city life behind and return to her heart's place since childhood - the peaceful seaside village of Keurboomstrand. With a simple but powerful dream, a good dose of courage, and a vision rooted in community and quality, she began building what would later become a beloved destination: Thyme and Again Farmstall.

What started in a small, humble house grew over time - not just in size, but in soul. Initially, the focus was on fresh farm produce and friendly, personal service. People noticed this - and appreciated it. Thus, Thyme and Again grew year after year, with each expansion reflecting the passion behind the business.

Today, we are more than just a farmstall. We are a gathering place. A piece of rest and authenticity where people come to relax with their children (and dogs!) over a cup of local coffee, a fragrant breakfast, or something fresh from our own bakery. But the story actually begins long before 1993. It was Tessa's grandfather who bought one of the first properties in Keurboomstrand in 1937. And it was her beloved mother who came up with the name Thyme and Again - a name that surprisingly resonated with people. In those early days, that unique name attracted many customers and set our farmstall on the path for the journey that would follow. At Thyme and Again, we believe in simplicity, honesty, and heart - and we invite you to experience this with us, time and time again.
